Define Stage

Define Stage will define the selected solid body as a stage of the unfold sequence to be used in the strip layout. A QPSLSurfBody feature will be created and attached with the selected solid body. A datum point will be created in the sketch under the QPSLSurfBody feature. And the relative position of the datum point to the solid body can be changed by editing the sketch under the QPSLSurfBody feature. A QPSLSurfBody feature be used an a blank part to create the strip layout or a step in the unfold sequence to be apply into the strip layout.

Procedures

1. Select a solid body.
2. On the ribbon, click STS tab > Strip Layout panel > Define Stage.
