Create cutting holes for punches

With the die set assembly setup, cutting holes on the die plates can be created. STS provides tools to create cutting holes on the die plate by using the profile of the punch and die components. Relief holes can also be created base on the interference of the die plate and the strip layout body.

Procedures

1. Isolate the punch holder plate and all the punches components.
   
2. Create cutting holes for each punch with the Create IHoles function.
   
3. Create cutting holes on other plates in the die set.
4. Create tapper hole on die plate with the TAngle option in Create IHoles.
   
5. Create relief hole for strip layout progression on the die plates with the Create IHoles function.
