Inserting fasteners

Additional fasteners and standard component can be inserted to the die set assembly with the SmartHolesSeries tools in STS. The SmartHoleSeries tool provides a library of standard parts that can be used in the die set. Cutting holes of the inserted standard components are also created with the SmartHoleSeries tools. Those holes created will follow the size and location of the insert standard components.

Procedures

1. Additional screws and dowel pins can be inserted with the SmartHoleSeries Create function. There are a library of components provided in the SmartHoleSeries tools.
   
2. Editing of the component position can be done by Edit Sketch function.
3. Editing of component size can be done by Edit Component function.
4. Hole can be customized with the Edit Hole function.
5. Additional holes can be added by the Add Hole function.
